We arrange several kind of packaging for both abnormal cargo and products declared sensitive, perishable, frozen, chilled, hazardous.
Multimodal transportation services
We move cargo thru all the expected ways like: vessel, barge, air, truck, rail both multimodal or single mode based upon the plan agreed with the customers.
Oversizes, heavylift cargo
Greenshields italian office has high specialization to move oversizes and/or heavylit cargo worldwide. We carry out transportation services as well as we arrange road permits for such cargo movements.
Everything is planned and undertaken in accordance with our own ISO9001 executive project.
Documentation
We assist the clients to issue and release documentation required for custom clearance both for import and export in all over the world like, for instance, licenses, tax exemption certificates, hazardous cargo certificates.
We also issue all the so-called cargo waiver documents (BESC, BSC, BIETC, LC, ECTN). We assist client for pre-clearance like ACID (Egypt) and SABER (Saudi Arabia).
We issue and release our own negotiable transport documents.
Perishable/sensitive/hazardous
Greenshields has strong and verified experience for moving, storage goods and issuing documentation and paperwork to handle and to clear the goods declared as perishable, frozen, chilled i.e. foodstuff, pharmaceutical or the ones classifed as hazardous.
The temperature inside the reefer trucks and containers it’s duly checked by the appliances connected to our own ITC System.
LAST MILE
Greenshields is highly specialized for deliveries to the difficult destinations to reach.
Difficulties as final address or sites are in the regions and areas not easy to reach because of weak or lack facilities, conflicts, disasters. For those reasons transportation services, custom clearances and basically logistics services are not definitely smooth.
CROSS TRADES
We are carrying out shipments from Brazil, India, China for cross trades between these countries thru our own JV or the exlusive
partnerships agreed locally. The shipments are also handled for the above mentioned countries to Africa and Persian Gulf
as well as Europe. They are mostly oversize cargo shipments to be moved by special equipments like flat rack and open
top. Even roro and break bulk services are often involved for movements.
The transport documents like BL, for instance, are issued in accordance with the italian and european rules.
Multimodal transport sea/air – land/air – sea/land/air
We are used to offer the above mentioned multimodal services for goods destined to destinations are difficult to reach
and/or whereas the airfreight rates are very expensive. In such a case the transportation services are planned even by
vessel, truck or rail, further to the aircraft. Thus the relevant freight rates are much cheaper than usual airfreight only.
The delivery times are not so much longer than pure airfreight partly because the airfreight only is managed and handled
by the carriers who often don’t meet the expectations advised at the time of booking both for direct service and especially for
transhipments. In fact,often, the transhipments are not arranged in accordance with the flight plans and goods arrive later
than expected.
The destinations to where we are mostly used to offer such services are the south east Asia, sub indian continent, Central Asia.
Goods origin not only from Europe as several consignments are cross trades.
The awb is released by us according to the italian and EU rules.

Cargo Handling from Eur 35,00 into Eur 100,00 (flexi tank / for specific trade usd 100)

Radiometric custom control and inspections
Since 1st July 2022 the Italian Custom Houses will apply the new rules for radiometric control of iron steel products and metalware, scraps included. Our office is able to explain how to handle noth clearances and inspections as well as the relevant charges expected.
