An agreement to take care shipments and all the transportation services to the contingents in Lebanon has been signed. The consignements origin from several points both in Europe and outside and, as usual, don't involve weapons and ammunitions which are banned by our By-Law.

The logistics dept. for assistance to the catering service companies has just achieved new traffics for West Africa. The total volume would be not less than 500 containers yearly.
- NOVEMBER 2011
Further to a mistake of american forces the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been closed. Our company studied different alternative routing for the goods to be delivered at Kabul and Herat. This is a traffic usually handled by our company since 2003 which is of 1000 containers yearly, 20% of them are reefer.

A new consolidation service from Miami to Carribean has been set up in co-operation with our local partner Greenshields USA. The commercial actions are fully managed by the office in Italy as well as the operational according to the contacts with the clients. The service is especially suitable for the traders are purchasing goods in north or south America. They can be assisted by an european freight forwarder and requiring to be compliance with european rules.

Two big fork lift over 50 tond each, abnormanl cargo have been shipped by ro/ro vessel from Livorno for final destination Brisbane. Service is not direct and transhipment is effected in North Europe still by ro/ro vessel.

A new traffic of machineries has been achieved. The goods have to stuffed into special equipment containers. Most of packages are overgauge. The stuffing is arranged by us in the depots located close to the ports of loading. The final destination is Abu Dhabi. The total volume traffic to be handled during the next three years would be 50 units 40' roughly per month.

Logistics. The agreement to import more than 1000 (one thousands) 40’ containers from USA has been signed. Goods destined in Italy (70%), France (20%), Germany (10%). They resins packed into octabins cartons. Just in case they are in bulk, the flexitank containers are used according to specific products. Then the goods are stored into bonded warehouse or silos duly equipped for this kind of goods which is sensitive to the humidity. After clearance the goods are delivered to the final recipients by our company thru tilt or tank trucks in accordance with the client’s requirements.

Six industrial boilers over 100 (one hundred) tons each to be shipped for the Persian Gulf final destinations. Port of loading Venice. The first lot is shipped by break bulk service, heavy lift suitable vessel. The same way for the next shipments to be done not later than September.
- MAY 2011
The contract for shipments destined in Afghanistan via Karachi for final destination Kabul and via Bandar Abbas for final destination Herat has been confirmed. The reefer containers are 20% roughly.
- APRIL 2011
The contract for handling shipments destined to Darfur has been renewed. The goods are loaded from european, chinese and south american ports. The reefer containers represents more than 30% total cargo quantity.
